Online 3D printing: how ordering from a real shop actually works
Search "3D printing service" from anywhere in the country and you'll mostly find two things: national upload portals with a calculator and a two-week lead time, or someone's hobby printer on a marketplace. Both make you deal with a form instead of a person. We built Gulf Coast Resin Works to be the third option — a real shop, run by two people, that prints at professional quality and answers its own phone.
How it actually works
Send us your file — STL, OBJ, STEP, or 3MF — through the quote form, or call/text (239) 880-2698. A person (Josh or Gianluca, there is no one else) opens your file the same day, checks wall thickness, supports, and scale, and sends you one number. No account, no calculator, no bot.
Most jobs print within the week. Standard turnaround is 2–4 days; rush jobs are a phone call — if it's physically possible we'll do it, and if it isn't we'll say so before taking a cent.
What we print
Everything runs on a Formlabs Form 4 at 25–50 micron layers — detail that filament (FDM) printers physically can't reach. The usual suspects: casting patterns for jewelers, tabletop miniatures and busts, architectural and interior design models, utility parts, and engineering prototypes.

Where we ship
We print in Fort Myers, Florida, and ship free anywhere in the USA. That is the whole service area. There is no local rate and no out-of-area surcharge, because on our end there is no difference between boxing a part for the next county and boxing one for the other coast — same printer, same resin, same box. Quotes are free everywhere and the $29 minimum is the same everywhere.
What you give up ordering online is dropping the part off by hand. What you don't give up is talking to somebody: the phones are on 24/7, and it is Josh or Gianluca picking up, whatever time zone you're calling from.
